Okay, so I am TOTES behind in reading and thus reccing, but I just received as a gift a GEM of a story that simply cries out to be shared. :)
A Warm Reception is today's offering in 3fan_holidays and it's FOR ME! *bounces* And tailor made it is, too.
Now you all know I don't automatically rec fics for me, but this one definitely deserves it. It's Drapery, and the characterizations are perfect. Severus is dour and snide, his wit as sharp as a shiv, and he needs help. When he finds a way to get the help he requires, Harry and Draco are there, and it's clear that they have a plan to get Severus both well and into their bed (not that I blame them). But of course, Severus has his own plan. ;) Oh how I love plotting Slytherins. *g*
Whoever this is has a deft touch with language, just the little details in the story made me smile, and their Snape voice is SPOT ON.
